GUEST BOOK
- Thank Goodness for the InternetJune - July 2010
Thank goodness for the Internet, without which we never would have found Palladio's View. First time in St. John, and we land in Paradise. Lovely house, magnificent views, etc., (all as has been said before). A very "liveable" place, with a good selection of guidebooks, DVD's, etc.
Sad to leave - as after any vacation - but somewhat more so from this idyll.
P.S. A day's sail on "Breath" was wonderful; Shipwreck Landing for seafood likewise.
M., A., K. & E. A.Richmond, VA - We Honeymooned HereJuly 2010
We truly appreciate you sharing you home with us. We have thoroughly enjoyed the "view," and this beautiful paradise. We honeymooned here .... You truly have a piece of heaven here on St. John and we are already planning our return trip! We are not quite ready to to return to reality or "rightside" driving. Thank you so much.
A. and M. W.Rock Hill, NC - What a Wonderful, Amazing Week!July 2010
What a wonderful, amazing week! I came here with my parents for their 25th!! At first no A/C, outdoor showers, and the possibility of no cell service was horrible. But it wasn't so bad at all! (I did have cell service!) Usually, I'm a grumpy teenager but the hot tub parties made me outgoing! Singing Justin Bieber at the top of my lungs was a funny sight for the neighbors!
I loved snorkeling! I saw two stingrays, an octopus, squid and giant tarpon. The water was incredible and a great bonding experience with me and Daddy :). And boy! The ride here was sure something. One bad thing did happen. I got stung by a SCORPION. I started breaking out and made my Dad call the clinic. It's a joke now that I still had time to text (but hey! I needed to tell my friends I may die!!). Basically, this was a great vacation. [Note: One is very unlikely (and unlucky) to encounter a psuedoscorpion on SJ. I was stung by one once. They're small, certainly not deadly, not big scorpions like one would see in the Southwest, and the sting responds fairly quickly to antihistimines, but it does hurt for a time. D.G.]
